Regular implants can be effectively used to provide a long lasting solution to replace multiple missing teeth, often in the form of an implant supported bridge. It's generally not necessary to use one implant to replace multiple missing teeth. Dr Jamal has the necessary training and experience to advise on the ideal solution for your unique circumstance.
When teeth are lost, bone and the supporting gum and tissue are lost as well. The longer you wait to replace a missing tooth the more likely it is that additional procedures such as gum and bone grafting may be required. Each patient is unique, which is why we offer a free consultation (including xrays) to determine the best solution and provide a written quote.
Case Study
This patient came to see us as she was frustrated with her upper removable denture.
After discussing the pros and cons of various approaches we decided to place 4 regular implants to support 2 bridges, one on either side of her top jaw. To keep costs and treatment time down we decided to place the back implants on an angle rather than into the sinuses to avoid sinus & bone grafting.

After 3 months of healing we made a provisional bridge to simulate the end result, then after a further 3 months of healing we placed the final bridges.
The patient is extremely pleased with the outcome and has not decided to have implants placed in her lower jaw as well so that she will no longer need to wear dentures at all.
